Georgia Milestones EOC 20% Requirement

In Georgia, high school core courses administer the Georgia Milestones EOC, which counts for 20 percent of the final grade.

Texas STAAR EOC Assessments

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the 30% rule in Florida high schools?
Florida high school students must have their EOC score calculate as 30% of their overall final grade. Quarters 1-4 make up the remaining 70%. If you have an 80% leading into the EOC and score a 70% on the EOC, your final grade will be (80 × 0.70) + (70 × 0.30) = 56 + 21 = 77% (C).
Do I have to pass the EOC to graduate?
In states like Florida and Texas, passing the Algebra 1 and Biology EOCs is a mandatory graduation requirement. If you do not achieve a passing score, retake opportunities are offered during subsequent testing windows.
